About Us
The South Leeward Conference Club
The South Leeward Conference Club (SLCC) is a cultural club at the University of the Southern Caribbean. Our community is made up of students, faculty/staff, and anyone with roots in Antigua and Barbuda, St.Kitts and Nevis and Montserrat. We also consist of those who simply wish to learn more about our various cultures.
These three countries form part of the South Leeward Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, which is also our main sponsor and the inspiration behind our name.
Together, through our faith and unity, we aim to support each other spiritually, academically and socially. While embracing our heritage, the SLCC members are consistently building meaningful bonds and making a positive impact on campus and beyond.

The Portraits of Excellence Scholarship Program and Gala is an initiative by the University of the Southern Caribbean that aims to develop future leaders. This year's theme, “Entrepreneurial Innovations: An Imperative for Sustainability in the Caribbean,” aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8 and 9, which focus on Decent Work & Economic Growth and Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure.
This program empowers students through personal and professional growth, academic excellence, cultural awareness, and community service. As part of this program, students participate in community projects that address pressing social issues while promoting sustainable solutions.
